Yin yoga is a slow and deep practice where floor-based poses are held for longer periods to cultivate inner stillness and deep release. This is about being rather than doing! As you breathe and hold poses you are encouraged to soften and let go, unravelling tension and stress. This is a perfect complement to our dynamic yoga. Expect to float out with a deep sense of balance and calm. Suitable for all levels of ability, including beginners.

The gentle pace of this class offers a more restorative practice, perfect if you’ve had a busy week. Slow flowing standing postures give you the time to discover how each pose really feels, paying full attention to your breath and alignment. Pranayama, meditation and a longer savasana will help you to cultivate self-compassion and self-awareness.
