about our classes

Our yoga classes are a modern and athletic style of dynamic vinyasa yoga. Vinyasa means flow, so each pose flows into the next combining breath and movement together. Prepare to build up a sweat!

Classes are rooted in Vinyasa Flow – a style of yoga that synchronises movement and breath, to work the body and calm the mind. Each class type will follow a familiar structure but we encourage our teachers to bring every bit of their own personality and style.

in the heated room

All classes at the yoga edge are heated to a comfortable 28 degrees. The heat helps the body melt into the practice, warming the muscles and aiding flexibility while the heart works harder. All this and a purifying sweat help ensure maximum benefit from your effort.

designed for all levels

Every class is designed for anybody and any body. Our studio is inclusive, welcoming and open – beginners participate side by side with those who have years of practice, and teachers offer a variety of pose variations for different levels. If you’re new, let your teacher know before class so they can offer some helpful tips.

class variations explained:

dynamic flow (intensity 3/3)

Our signature all levels dynamic yoga class to stretch, strengthen, detox and unwind. Flowing movements, standing poses, abdominal strengthening, hip stretching and deep relaxation. Leave feeling refreshed, refocused and ready to take on the rest of your week!

sunrise flow (intensity 2/3)

Rise and shine the best possible way, with yoga! Our sunrise yoga classes are a slightly more gentle version of our regular dynamic class, with a focus on warming and waking up the body.

nurturing flow (intensity 2/3)

The gentle pace of this class offers a more restorative practice, perfect if you’ve had a busy week. Slow flowing postures give you the time to discover how each pose really feels, paying full attention to your breath and alignment.

soothing yin (intensity 1/3)

Our yin classes are slow and nourishing. This is about being rather than doing! Floor-based poses are held for longer periods to cultivate inner stillness and deep release. As you breathe and hold positions you are encouraged to soften and let go, unravelling tension and stress.
